About the role :

To manage the schedule for the QTMP trains.

To ensure all activities are captured, effectively scheduled, and managed to support the successful introduction of the QTMP trains into revenue service.

Ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.

Provide weekly status updates and performance reporting to assist the Project Manager and Operations Manager in the safe and efficient delivery of the QTMP trains.

Effectively schedule the key activities related to the QTMP trains.

Manage customer and key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are considered in the schedule development.

Regular liaison with key stakeholders to advise of change and updates as appropriate.

Scheduling all activities in MS project and providing status updates to management

Produce on a weekly basis the “four week” lookahead, a key management tool.

Weekly performance reporting and analysis.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Rolling Stock experience desirable.

Proficient IT skills and software packages: MS Project, MS Word, Excel, email.
