Hyundai Rotem is a global heavy industry company that specializes in manufacturing rolling stock, military equipment and plant engineering. It is able to produce all types of rolling stock, including electric multiple units (EMUs), high-speed trains, engine locomotives, wireless trams and magnetic levitation (maglev) trains. In addition, it is ushering in the new era of eco-friendly hydrogen fuel by developing trains powered by hydrogen fuel cells along with hydrogen infrastructure and hydrogen markets. Further, its industrial wearable robot technology that assists field workers is proving to be a game changer at sites such as automobile production lines and steel mills. Also, Hyundai Rotem is contributing to national security by developing smart, unmanned weapon systems along with tanks and other types of armored vehicles.

About the role :

  • To provide administrative support to the Project Management team.

  • Assist in the organization and management of the office environment ensuring that necessary resources are available in a timely manner.

  • Monitor and report on the labour hours for the PM team and report on a weekly basis the status versus the budget.

  • Ensure all documentation compliance with all record keeping requirements and any other relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Must be customer focused, team oriented, accountable and results driven.

  • Must be organised and efficient with a demonstrated ability to work independently to prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.

  • Ability and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by a rapidly changing working environment.

  • Must have an open and international mindset.

  • Working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment legislation. 

  • Continuous improvement mindset.

  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.

  • Highly proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, email.
